Getting started with Coaching Circle

This guide is meant to help users move through sign-in, profile setup, coach discovery, booking, and dashboard management without confusion.

Step 1

Create an account

Use Sign in / Create account at the top of the site. Choose whether you are joining as a coach or client, then confirm your email if prompted.

Step 2

Complete your profile

Add your name, timezone, and other profile details. Coaches should also add specialties, availability, and optional Google Calendar connection.

Step 3

Browse or search for coaches

Use Explore Coaches or the Find By Availability section on the home page to look for open peer-to-peer sessions.

Step 4

Book or reschedule a session

Open a coach profile, choose a date and time, and confirm the booking. Use the dashboard later if you need to reschedule or cancel.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why can I see Sign in before booking?

Booking requires an account so the platform can save your session, show it on your dashboard, and manage reschedules or cancellations later.

Why is a slot shown as booked or unavailable?

That time has either already been booked by someone else, or the coach has blocked that date or time from their calendar.

Why can only some users connect Google Calendar?

If the Google OAuth app is still in testing, only users approved in Google Cloud as test users can connect it. Once Google verification is completed, this can be opened for broader public use.

What happens if I close the browser before signing out?

The app is designed to restore your session cleanly when you return. If anything looks stuck, refresh the page and sign in again.

Why do I not see a coach profile picture or rating?

The platform now shows only what the coach has actually entered. If no profile picture or reviews exist yet, those areas stay in an empty state instead of showing defaults.

How do I update my timezone or availability?

Open My Dashboard, then go to Account Settings. Coaches can update both profile details and availability. Clients can update their profile details there as well.

If a user still has trouble

Ask them to confirm they are signed in with the correct email address.

Ask them to refresh the page and try again if something appears stuck.

Ask them to check whether their profile or onboarding has been completed.

For Google Calendar connection issues, confirm whether that Gmail account has been approved as a Google test user if the app is still under testing.
